Having held the position of Research Coordinator of the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology for a number of years, I have now moved to the role of Co-Director of the MA in Applied Psychology (Positive & Coaching Psychology), with a particular role in the development of research in the field. Currently, my areas of research interest include: Since then, my research interests have continued to include psychology of older age, but have expanded into new areas and have become more social in orientation. Having done some training in counselling skills, I won a PhD studentship under the PRTLI3 programme for research in the area of cognitive function in older age, and completed this PhD in 2008.
